Protect sore and tender areas with medical grade Moleskin sheets.  3 per package, approximately 3x4 inches.  Soft, durable fabric and self stick adhesive.  You can stick it directly to your skin or to your footwear, or cut to size and then cut a hole in the middle to apply over a blister.
